Our Jonah bear… so easy, so sweet, so sensitive and thoughtful. He was our first. He has been (by FAR) our easiest. He is a bit shy at first with new people. He is always aware of the people around him. He does what is asked of him. He is the one that makes Ken and I think, “Wow! We are really pretty good at this parenting thing” (which of course, we KNOW Jonah is the way he is because it is the way God made him. If it was our parenting, our #2 and #3 would be included in this post. You’ll notice they are not, because I am discussing calmness).
Today at the mall he tells me, “Momma, all I want Santa to bring me is a racetrack and a helicopter. That is all I want. I don’t really need anything else.”
Seriously? Most kids name hundreds of things they want.
After the mall, we went to Toys R Us. We were looking at the toys and he tells his sister, “Sister, remember we are just going to have fun looking today. Momma said we weren’t getting anything. But that will be fun, right?”
Again, seriously?
So easy. I am so thankful.
